Would you like to be better speaker?

Here’s one of the best tips I could ever give. Write!  That’s correct, write!

Blog regularly. And after you written a blog post, record the audio of it. I put mine into an iTunes Podcast Channel.

Now, I got to tell you, it was a very humbling experience! The first time I listened to my podcast, I found grammatical errors. I found spelling errors. I had to rewrite some things. Well, that helped my writing.

But as I was listening, that was humbling, also! Sometimes I mumble. Sometimes my voice faded. But, I got to tell you, that was one of best things I’ve ever done, and I try to do it every time I write a blog post.

Written Post + Audio Post = better writing and better speaking.

Now, if you want to take it to the next level, do this! Do a video. Now, it’s really tough the first time you hear yourself.  It’s tougher the first time you see and hear yourself.  But, it is absolutely worth it. You don’t have anything real fancy. An iPhone will do. But when you see yourself, you can see that nonverbal communication: those facial expressions, the gestures, the body movement. t

The combination of Written Post + Video Post absolutely will take you to another level!
