Here are three things NOT to do with your hands when you’re speaking.
Number One: Do not point with your index finger. No one likes to be pointed at. Instead, gesture with your knuckle.
Number Two: Be sure all the finger gestures you use are universally accepted. We know that means silence. This, this is not universally accepted. Do not use it!
And Number Three: Don’t Twitch: Stroke your hair, rub your face, scratch yourself. Don’t do those things with your fingers.
Do NOT do those three things when delivering presentations, and I guarantee your next presentation will be absolutely, positively – NO SWEAT!
