It’s ALL About The STORIES!

Nancy Duarte says, “Personal Stories are the emotional glue that connect your audience to your message.”

We all have Stories and I want to prove that to you with this exercise. 

We do it in my Meetups. We do in my workshops.

  1. Take your phone.

  2. Open up photos.

  3. Start scrolling.

  4. Find a photo – tell that Story!

That Story is probably something you could use in your presentations because: The Body of the Speech is: Make a point – Tell a Story.

Let me give you an example. There’s a picture of my grandson. He’s a year and a half and he’s going up the steps one-at-a-time. And I gotta tell you if I were doing the equivalent, it’d be going three or three and a half steps at a time. And I’d probably do one. But he’s going up those steps one-at-a-time.

It’s a Story of persistence, of having a goal, of not giving up and I can use that in the Story.

Don’t leave home without using this FREE Speaker’s Checklist

Well, take a look at your photos, find the Story, and use it in your presentation. Do that, and I guarantee your next presentation will be absolutely, positively – NO SWEAT!
